@mica: And oh, another symptom aside from GAS is GBS syndrome. Gear Buy n Sell syndrome. Rich photogs buy expensive lenses, test them out and find out they're not for them, and they sell them at very low prices. These rich photographers usually sell such lenses in less than a year, some even just within weeks or months of use. Of course, the sickness is not limited to richies, us poor blokes also have GBS Syndrome but instead of expensive lenses, mga chipipay lang. Kit lens, Sigma 70-300, Tamrons ang Sigs, sometimes Tokis.

Ha ha. So true. I sold my unused Canon 450D strap to a Canon advanced point and shoot (DSLR look-alike) user. As of now, I'm selling my 50mm 1.8 even if I told you I won't. (sheepish grin) I'll miss its IQ but I'll get over it the same way I got over my kit lens and 100-300.

@bro zub: Sakto ka bai. Most days I wish I had a camera with me pero kapoy man everyday dad-un ang DSLR. My old point and shoot is just too big and its silver. It might be a good idea to have a good pocket-size P&S with manual mode like the Canon S90. Mag-holdup sa ko 22,000 sa banko, oops i-30 thou na lang kay separate pa diay bayran ang belt case. Okay unta Lumix LX3 pero wala man protection lens plus its not pocket size.
