Why the Comelec disqualified Edilito only after the election is a question that only corrupt and incompetent members of the Comelec could answer. How could the Comelec take its sweet time in deciding on the disqualification case when Edilito’s candidacy was affecting the candidacy of a bona fide and legitimate candidate, Tining Martinez?

I got your point. Sorry, i am just amazed with how Benhur runs the district - but this does not mean that Benhur is not respecting the law. It is his right to file for another motion and question the decision. I also believe that even the congress is still not recognizing Tining as the 4th's representative. Well, well, let the higher-ups handle this. To be honest, i don't know who should say the final words on this - the SC, or the Congress?

But agree that Comelec should this time, study on how they can swiftly decide on matters like nuisance candidacy.

That is bridge under water. The final decision will be at the polls in May 2010. Benhur's accomplishment in so short a time will mirror on his candidacy.

Siguro kanang compara compara no?

Kinsay may nagpakana adtong nuisance candidate bi?

Di man niya respetohon ang kabubut-on sa katawhan.

    @surikbots,

    bai,
    - basin gyud wala makauyon ang mga taw atong manok ni Benhur? Ang kandidato ni Benhur ug ang iyang manok, dili man ni sila usa. Parehas ra gud if muingon ko nga si Gibo ako presidente but si Bayani ako vice.

    - re the nuissance candidate, sure ka nga sila benhur gyud ang nagpadagan ato niya? or basin kato nga tawhana, wala lang gyud kauyon sa mga Martinez? Or gusto lang gyud tong tawhana mudagan para musikat pud iyahang ngalan?

    - YES, i am from the 4th District? You?

Put it this way. If you are talking about the will of the people,

    - then there is also a possibility that those people who put on their ballots "C. Martinez", didn't really vote for Tining but for that other Martinez. Now, as those were considered stray during the elections, they are now counted as votes for Tining.

    - Benhur's camp is questioning the number of ballots counted that were not originally in the protest, coz there is a 'possibility' that those were tampered. If tampering is true, then that was not the will of the people. That's why it is being questioned.

    - re delaying tactics, its because benhur's camp wanna make sure that the final decision is the will of the people who voted last elections.

What kind of leadership you have if you cannot even make your candidate win even in your hometown?

Logic will tell you ba.

Am I from 4th District? Yes.

Mao lagi na. Kung wala pa tong nuisance candidate dili unta mag create ug doubt kinsay gibotohan. Klaro na kaayo ang tuyo adtong tawhana. Samok samok lang.

Tugtan ta lang ang imong contention re: tampered ballots, but it is already the Supreme Court which ruled that Tining is the clear winner. Asa man diay ang lawyers ni Benhur during the protest proceedings. They could have opposed the inclusion of those ballots they believed to have been tampered to favor Tining?

What can you say?
