it took ONLY 1 term for Benhur Salimbangon what Martinez took forever in 4th district...
naa nay Tesda sa 4th district, semento/asphalting road projects ni Benhur, naay health cards ang mga pobre for free medical check ups & consultations btw wala ni sa Martinez nga administration for 20+ yrs!

anyways election is near people will again speak up & this time it's going to be clear...

plus naa pa jud daan ng MSY Foundation sa sister ni Benhur Salimbangon...

we're from the 4th district..intawon, na 50+ nlng ang edad sko mama, mao plng jud ang pag aspalto sa dalan sa among brgy...karon ra jud, after mhawa ang mga martinez sa congress...our place has developed, and business is not that bad (my mama owns a small place in the market)...ni progreso jud amo lugar ni benhur...wa miy paki sa iya political party, basta for me he has served well...

Dili issue unsay nahimo ni Benhur. Ang issue ang kabobot-on sa katawhan. Ang nahitabo ang nilingkod sa 4th District, wala pili-a sa katawhan. Sakto diay na nga ang nagpahimulos dili diay ang tinood gipili sa katawhan.

So palihug lang ben, kanaug na sa pwesto. Kay Supreme Court na mismo ang nag ingon, si Tining ang nidaog.

Ako dili ko taga-4th district, lumad ko sa Cebu City. Sa sige nakong agi-agi diha ako nakita nga sa pagdumala ni Benhur Salimbangon sa 4th nakita nako ang kausaban sa mga dalan hilabi na sa pagpalapad ani ug pag-asplato/semento ug ang pag-reconstruct sa mga tulay. Sayang kaayo kay nindot unta ang iyahang programa ug siguro kaayo ko sa 2010 elections ang kasingkasing sa mga lumulupyo diha nakuha na niya bisan pa ug bawion sa SC ang iyahang mandato.

I am from the 4th district - town of San Remigio.
Maybe this happened for a purpose.
Say this. It only took Benhur a single term to pave way for the concreting of roads and bridges in the district, provide education (TESDA) to its constituensts, give medical help (health card) to the poor, provide small business loans to those who needs it most, and many more.
Now, compare this with the almost 2 decades (or maybe more) of the Martinez's rule on that district? Your say?
However, as of this time, the SC ruling is not yet final, as Salimbangon is still questioning the number of 'protested' ballots in comparison with the 'lead' now Tining has.
OR, we can put it this way. Benhur might not be the true winner, but he showed how the service to the people of the 4th district should be. A lesson for the Martinez. An observation for the people.
Anyway, election 2010 is coming, and they will again clash. Let's see who is the rightful owner of that '4th District of Cebu - Representative' post.

Why the Comelec disqualified Edilito only after the election is a question that only corrupt and incompetent members of the Comelec could answer. How could the Comelec take its sweet time in deciding on the disqualification case when Edilito’s candidacy was affecting the candidacy of a bona fide and legitimate candidate, Tining Martinez?
