Why some parents wants to have 3 or more names for their child?

^^sakto jud bro!!!! kay ako common kaayu ako name cge lang ko ka hit kada lukat NBI.. and others may say pod na its the trend nowadays...

maluoy lang pod ko kay purte jud ka taasa sa name unya inig take nimo board d maarang sa boxes inig fill up nimo. wahahahaha!!!!!!

perfect example kay ako kinugos Aisha Daphne Esperanza... taas oi!!! we call her ADE nlng for short. hehehehe.

my second daughter has 3 names, a combination of her dad's name, my name and my eldest daughter's name. It was very impt at that time na i needed to name my kid all the three names. it was actually a reminder to my ex hubby na dapat the family should be intact.. thus, i named my child Christine (my name) Michaella (my hubby's name is Michael) Angeli (My eldest daughter is Angelica)... But we just call her Mica for short.
People have special reasons for giving their children long names...Even those na weird combination na kaau ang mga names cge nlng. weird in the sense na lahi2x meaning, contradicting.. etc. it's a free country after all...
funny lang kaau mga names na spanish then e combine with english. or something else. toinks. dira cguro ko makatawa to the next level. pataka lng name sa anak bah. pero like i said, it's your choice.

maybe because some parents grabe ka close sa mga great great great granny mao ng in great memory of sa mga names sa iyang great great granny's i combine nila sa ilang anak...

maybe because ginahan lang gyud cguro sila og taas ang name sa ilang anak (not thinking nga ang bata ra ang maglisod pagkadako.. labi na sa mga documents..and legal stuffs)

sama sa giingon sa isa ka poster sa taas maybe it's just a matter of preference sa mga parents.. agree agree..

..pero sa akoa nga case.. ako gaan og 2 to 3 names akong anak depende sa akong apelyido. HUnahunaon sad nako nga dli maglisod akong anak ug suwat sa pagdako and so with sa mga legal documents. I am grateful somehow that akong parents gitagaan kog very cute nga name 3 letters lang og akong apelyido 3 letters ra sad. kay wala jud ko ga lisod sa akong name hangtod karon. though dli jud xa challenging kay tungod sa ka gamay, wala may motoo nga mao jud akong real name. ....

Naay uban tagutlo, tagupat ka names ilang gusto, plus taas pa jud ug family name.

because they just want the best name for their babies..thats all.

but sometimes, parents are not thinking of the future problems that their children might be facing like for example...starting to write in school, board exams etc.

reason sa ubang parents kay para unique ang name sa ila anak. Unique in the sense nga dili sya maglisod ig dako niya esp sa mga legal docs, applying NBI clearance, passports, visas.....
there are lot of cases nga ma pending,ma question, deny... sa gi applyan tungod kay naay mga kapareha ug names nga naay bad record.esp sa tech nato karon nga daghan na kaau mogamit sa atong names thru internet lang.

wala pa ko baby, but then ok na ko 1 or 2 names. as long as unique na ang name mismo.

ako, i'm thinking of giving my baby 3 names kay ganahan man ko nga nindot siya ug initials... kanang initials palang nickname nah apil apelyido... tagam man gud sad ko nga akong name hit/namesake sa NBI, di ko ganahan mahitabo sa baby... sa mga schools ron, di bitaw required to write the full name kung magkat-on ug suwat... hehe

i dunno jud.. ako personally dli ko gnahan taas kaayo.. 2 names kay ok na.. but my husband's family kay uso ang long names.. my husband's sister has 4 gani.. "princess jasmine tracy elizabeth".. whew
