I am a D90 and D60 user and our office uses 4 D300s, a D200 and a D2X. They are all very rugged and durable. But in the end, I think its better to use the brand that most of your friends are using so you can borrow gear fron each other. Just remember, it's not the arrow, it's the Indian...hehehe.....just my 2 cents worth.
