hello, not sure if pwede ni i-post diri nga thread

has any1 used a replacement battery for their DSLRs? There's this replacement battery for my canon1000d, only Php800! (i think ang orig is sumwer 2k-3k) BUT i'm not sure if this is worth it? What can you say about replacement batteries?

Are there shops here in cebu that offers RENTALS of DSLR batteries?

Kay i'll be using it just for this sinulog, i'm sure i'll be in "trigger-happy" mode & most likely d battery will run out by mid-afternoon siguro. Buying a battery is not within my budget, so I was hoping naa'y ma renta-han diri sa cebu? Just for a day ra jud. Newbie pa man gud ko, i think it's not yet time for a spare battery (or more like wala ko'y wawarts nyahahaha)

I hope someone can help me on this before sinulog day.

@reps: Don't even try buying replacement batteries while your camera is still under warranty. If your electronics get fried and you bring your camera to the Canon service center, then they'll tell you the warranty is void. Now, if your camera is out of warranty, then maybe you can take the risk. Personally, I won't.

You can try Needs & Solutions Rentals (duol sa Capitol ila office, beside the motorcycle shop). Not sure if they're renting out bats though.
