    bro, you can condem the thermostat para ang pressure keeps circulating. hibong lang ko CASA man kaha they ngano butangan nila ug gasket maker imo connector?

    Not the work of a prof mechanic? gub-on na nila imo car at your expense...

    pag naa leak sa connection sa hose butangan man gyud na sealant before ipa-huot ang clip. unsaon diay na sa imo mekanico bro?? i-welding pra d mo leak?? peace!

    If under warranty pa na bai, I strongly suggest to have it checked totally kay there might be some other problems, which could be major ones (worst is warped head, and too much heat maka-brittle sa imo gaskets and seals)

    Ang limitation lang ana gamay is ang authorized nga maka-check is ang Hyundai lang sad, which medyo bias tingali gamay but just to make sure lang, if naa ka kaila nga maka visual check lang maski dili lang hilabtan ang makina mas maayo....
    There are some checkpoints that you can do visually to identify after effects sa pagka-overheat nimo.

    If na-overheatan ka last time and even after naayo na ang visible leaks, magkahurot ra gihapon ang tubig, possible sad na nga naa portion sa imo head gasket ang guba especially the area where the coolant is supposed to pass through your engine to cool it down.

    Removing the thermostat actually has effects sad sa longevity sa imo engine but the severity of the effects of stucked-up/malfunctioned thermostat is high man sad so mao nang most people would prefer it removed na lang....Hehehe..ako sad, gitangtang na lang nako <=== (Bad example)
    But if casa imo pabut-on, di jud sila mosugot ana.

    I think if properly done with the proper replacement parts, I don't think necessary pa ang butangan ug sealant.

    And personally, naay risk when using Silicone sealants in your cooling system kay if di kamao ang nagbutang pwede na siya makuyog sa imo coolant which might clogged up or restrict sa flow sa imo coolant through the coolant lines Hehehe.....Opinion lang sad ni...(Imagination lang ko kutob but better safe than sorry)

    You can actually have your radiator pressure checked for leaks....
    Di ko sure sa term but there's a gadget for that para masiguro nmo if naa ba leaks...

    Try sa shell service stations.

    +3 ko. i really hate CASA. Casa man unta, nindot og dungog pero palpak kaau.
    Nagpa repair pod ko diha for rust, wa pay 1 month, nibalik ang taya. tinood jud ka magka daghan ang problema, mao wa jud koy gana mo-adto didto. bahalag unsa ila isulti sa warranty nga ma-void, ok lang nako, bati bitaw sila mo-trabaho.

    peace sa mga taga casa nag-work, pero mao ni tinood.

    based on exp. bro ayaw butangi sealant.kun maayo pa ang hose ilisi ang clip ug katong hose clip nga ang gamiton paghugot screwdriver.mao sad na mahurot ang tubig kay sige tulo kun magdagan.DIY ra gani ko bro kay way budget sa mekaniko.

    dili na basta2x maguba ang thermostat oi kay ang ako hyundai since 1999 pa man ni thermostat ok pa man. i try lang na DIY imo thermostat humol sa init tubig around 90 deg C. moabli gani na ang rubber nga g push sa spring maau pa na. yaw lang na butangi ug sealant ang hose or gasket sa imong thermostat's thermo well kay dili man na sudden ang pressure kay gamay ra man na buka ang thermostat dili man na ma full open jud kay dali ra moubos ang temp kay automatic ang electric fan kusog kaau mo higop air ig around 90 deg C sa imo jacket cooling fresh water. kana culprit possible ang imo radiator cap yaw ilisdi baratohon kay instead mobalik ang water sa expansion tk mo leak na noon hurot na water. (just one cent ra to kay DIY fers man sad ko.)
