i agree to this one... Jesus Christ's teachings should be followed...
if i'm not mistaken, had Paul VI lived longer, he would've reversed the Church's stand on contraception... who knows what else he could have changed?
but then again, given He (God) is all-knowing, i still think He knows that this time will come and he still entrusted the Church to Peter...so i guess whatever conspiracies there may be in the Church today, it will still stand and He will still protect her....
kalma lang. you took my question the wrong way. Let's review ...
LightBearer: I think what the Vatican 2 is doing is, She is re-directing the course of the church to fit the coming changes of the future, which is now and the coming years. She is expanding her arms and re-expressing the essence of Universalism and Love based on the teachings of the Catholic church.
Alramzz: Yes, Re-directing the course of the church to destruction,. but as Jesus said on Matthew 16:18..that is why many Catholic and True priest have its Faith to bring back the traditional mass which satan been trying invalidate,.
...you are implying that priests that celebrates non-traditional mass are heretics and therefore their church is not the true church of Jesus.
mao ng in my previous post I asked you this question...what's in the traditional mass that makes the church the true church of Jesus?
What's important is the eucharist Bro, accepting and receiving the body and blood of Jesus Christ....plus we have the homily and offering as well........
When Jesus Christ assembled his disciples for a final meal during Passover, He used the common elements of bread and wine to illustrate a point. As the disciples consumed a portion of bread, Jesus told them they were actually eating His flesh, at least in a spiritual sense. The communal wine would also be considered His blood, which would soon be spilled as an atonement for mankind's sins. These elements of bread and wine, along with the intimate communications between believers and God, formed the basis of the Eucharist ceremony.
What is the Eucharist?
