Atheism does not deal with supernatural nor deal with
spirituality or occult.
The word supernatural implies that there may be entities who are somehow "above" or "beyond" nature (whatever that means). If you believe in the existence of angels or demons, I'd suggest you might want to start calling yourself a theist: these are merely the demoted gods of polytheism. Atheists tend not to believe in the supernatural ("above" or "beyond" nature), neither do most naturalistic religions such as Deism and Pantheism.
it is unlikely that you could find an atheist who is "spiritual" because there is a real contradiction between living a "God-centered" life while not believing in the existence of any gods.
Atheism and Spirituality: Are there any Spiritual Atheists? Can Atheism Be Spiritual or Compatible with Spiritual Beliefs?
trouble getting past the "spirit" part of the word because I do not believe in spirits, souls, ghosts, demons, or anything else that is not part of the natural world
Why are they here?
Justification:
Can an atheist be a spiritual person?
Practically, we might see a spiritual atheist as highly empathic, aware of his or her connection to others, concerned with equality and social justice, regularly
awed by the beauty of nature, etc. Such descriptors apply in varying degrees to all persons, theist and atheist alike.
--- Too bad, it never mention about Ghost nor anything that is an entity. It only refers to thier
CONNECTION to OTHERS.
