The His influences for the purpose of twisting of the interpretations, pitting one against another. Designing others to attack his Chosen people and those who follow his Son. Cults that pull his followers away from the part. Corrupt church leaders to sin and blaspheme in his name driving a wedge between his teachings and the people.

The churches spend all there time bickering on who's church is better, and what each is doing wrong; that they forget the bigger picture, what they are all doing that is right.

If you want to lay siege on a building then you can surround that building and storm the walls; or you can just send someone inside and burn it down.
