As to why its not too red, you will need to experiment on it.
It *might* not be because of light.

heres an interesting read on red plants and high light.
"Need" high light for red plants? 1.8W/gal, see what you think

the tank in question has about 1.8watt/gal. 24 inches high. and the lights are about 5 inches from the water.

@hydrozam: nagliquid co2 ko for now, im saving up pa for gas co2 setup. pero nag double dose ko sa liquid.

@gaevwa: constant na ko diri bro, newbie friendly man gud, daghan pud ko makat.on

@galactic armada: il try to sir. naggamit ko a2ng Aquahouse 18watt light and kutob ra cya slightly off center sa tank. thats as far it can go na.. if mu add ko ug another light dili ba daghan na kaayu for a small tank.
