sad but true, most of business applications are made to run on windows, sure you can run windows apps on Linux, but you have to run it on Wine... windows had lots of issues so does linux, thou only minimal...

regards on support... windows had strong corporate support, compared to linux, since it is open-source, support varies.

if you are a business ownder, go for windows
if you are an individual, go for linux
if you are a gamer, go for windows or get a console

i used windows because of the things that only windows can provide, thou i still support linux (esp. Bayanihan and Ubuntu)

if you want a linux but you still want some windows application, get OSX

Windows Applications are not free. Mas daghan og applications ang linux compared to windows kung padaghanay lang. Atleast naay wine. Ang windows naay application manager nga mo pa dagan og RPM's and DPKG Packages?

bisan sa NASA paka windows gyud maoy gamit. i check ninyo ang salida sa Discovery channel nga "how do they do it" most of the high end robotics technology or NASA windows xp gyud ang gipang gamit. base rasadna sa ako nakita ha. ligon mangud ug support mao sila gyud ang pilion. kung ang linux naa ligon nga support ok gyud kaayo pero as of now ok ang linux for online web based business gyud kay maka save ka pero kung dili online windows gyud.

Depende ra na ang kadaghanon sa user nga imong makita kung asa ka dapit nga kural gatan-aw.
