Let them enjoy their rights as we enjoy our rights. They are also human like us. They didn't choose to be that way. If ikaw ang bading and your are being discriminated what will you do? First of all marriage is a union between 2 people, and one of the requirements for marriage is consent. With paedophiles there is no consent, it's just an old person imposing his sexual will on an unsuspecting child. That's more like rape and should be illegal.

We both agree that consent between two adults is required in marriage. But that assumption is precisely what pedophiles contest -- in the same way as homosexuals contest that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. You make it sound like "consent" is just a minor thing. Without consent it's just rape. As for homosexuals wanting to get married why should it be a big deal? Even if you don't allow them to get married it will not change the fact that homosexuality is real. Will it kill you to see people of the same *** getting married? Will it turn you into a homosexual too if others are? And besides marriage is not a religious matter it is a civil matter. A lot of you will argue that but you don't need the church's permission to get married of course many would prefer to get married in the church but it's not necessary. It's a civil contract.

Wait did you just categorize homosexuality under the same category as paedophilia? The keyword is "traditional". I'm sorry but that doesn't hold any valid point. Marriage by definition isn't just based on sexual preference or orientation of heterosexuals because if it was then that means it is just the same as an ordinary boyfriend girlfriend relationship.
