If your going to buy a router i suggest you buy this, don't let the design fool you, it has 2 internal antennas.

That router is good for all signals A/B/G/N but if you got a wireless N then it will be better, but still it works very good for other signals, better read the "full review from cnet.com" click the "review" link i gave. About the 2.4ghz and 5ghz signal you got it confused, 1st a normal wifi router whether wireless G or wireless N uses the 2.4ghz signal. 2nd there are expensive routers out there that can give you both 2.4ghz and 5ghz signals, these can greatly help improve wifi signal and stability because it will eliminate signal interference from other wireless signals. For example: you live in a house equipped with a wireless telephone, MOST wireless telephones use the 2.4ghz signal, so when you turn on your wifi router which also uses the 2.4ghz signal both devices will interfere on each other, resulting to poor wifi signal achieved by your wifi capable devices. In summary wireless G signal does not equal to 2.4ghz signal, and wireless N signal is not 5ghz signal, it all depends on the wifi router whether or not the wifi router is a DUAL signal or just a SINGLE signal. I hope this helps clarify things.
