hahaha! nice @fingolfin.... that's a common filipino trait... sige reklamo sige reklamo... blah blah blah... but when it comes to lending a hand na jed wala na... daghan na kaayo excuse why di sila kabuhat ana.....

Now back to topic regarding helping w/out the use of money.... hhmmmm....daghan ta matabang oi in our own little ways.... such as doing volunteer works.. for orphanages, foundations, build-a-home, etc...

If you're a professional, you can use ur profession for free bisan once a week or once a month.. like if you're a lawyer... mo-take ka ug pro-bono cases...kay daghan kaayo mga poor people nga dili ka afford ug lawyer nya ang Public Attorney's Office perteng ka overwork na jed tawn mga lawyers didto mao sometimes dili na nila maatiman ang kaso sa usa ka client like they're supposed to.... so if you're a private practising lawyer or you work for a big firm.... doing pro-bono or walay fee na cases... dako na kaayo ka matabang ana....

Same goes w/ doctors, nurses, etc. etc.

"You may not make a lot of difference to the poor in general... but to that one individual you've helped... that could mean the difference bet. life and death"
