@ryantanchan case to case ra cguro na bro..i have used 2 western digital drives, both are more than 5 years and both still worked fine before i disposed them

my desktop pc uses WD special edition 120GB and 80GB 5yrs na buhi pa silent and cool, then ako lappy na wd scorpio 80GB died in a year of use and OEM na hitachi buhi pa hangtod karun....

anyone here using 2.5" WD on their laptop unsa assesment ninyo, ky kung seagate daghan nko nadiscover na laptop with in a year lng ang OEM HDD patay na SATA and EIDE drives

I have a humming sound sa ako drives don't know if the 250gb WD or the 250gb Seagate is doing that. No clicks hinu-on.

i don't have the 250GB, but my 80GB JD also clicks upon spinup and shutdown. other than that my 320's are completly silent.
