usually it's not the vcard.. it's the proc that gets to hot and stops / shutdowns your system..
can you elaborate your term "crash"?

what do you mean "crash screen" Â*garble yun screen or graphic display? i suggest pa warranty mu yan .if ever wala na try mu apply thermal compound do some cleaning sa fan using wd-40 though becareful not to short circuit its electrical parts.
if slow ang performance try mu sa bos set from agp 8x to 4x...besure to set it to max video memmory also....err mx-4000 is really slow Â*but its enough to run generals and nba206...try installing the Â*latest drivers

If your videocard is still under warranty have it replaced instead if not, lines and dots is a sign of Vcore damage or Vcore overheat as flashing squares is for memory damage/overheat

( you can buy it in any hardware)WD-40 its a cleaning agent for metallic parts very good paricularly if your fan stops spining or its spinning to slow..becareful not to spray the electrical party area though.

hehehehe try mu yun mga suggestion ko from adjust vga setting sa bios to cleaning the fan to instaling the lastest driver..
inno 3d or sparkle yan mx 4000 mu?mga low end ang mga ito sa capacitors pa lang talo na compare sa nindot na brand pero ok na ito basta alagaan mu lang ng mabuti.

may i ask wala na ba ito warranty usually 1 year yan. kasi if lines and dot ang display wala na yan if garble medyo madala pa sa adjusting
