Brgy. Chairman of Zapatera got an award!

He was named the best brgy. chairman for 2005. Im still finding the reasons why?

Joma was not yet the brgy captain in 2005 but his father Frank was. So it would be impossible for Joma to get the award. Joma was Brgy Capt in Zapatera as a first-termer from 2007 until now.

and to be exact:

"Nakuha ni Zapatera Barangay Captain Frank Benedicto (di ang kanhi ambassador sa Pilipinas ngadto sa Canada ug karon Foreign Affairs Undersecretary) ang The Outstanding Barangay Official of the Year 2005 (TOBOY) award sa dakbayan sa Sugbo. Gipaluyohan ang maong kalihukan sa Department of Interior and Local Government."

and if you are asking why his father got the award, you can direct that question to DILG and Mayor Tomas yourself. I'm sure they have the answer.

yes i agree...i also personally know them both and i can say that they do have strengths and weaknesses..

im a resident of this brgy. and i can say that KAP joema has been effective and productive with his work so far..

wait lang mga pare ha kay nangita pa ko why they give him an award like that. Kay ako personally ako nga saksi sa iyang pag serbisyo. As in, yukkky! Wa jud ko nag vote sa iya even nanghatag siya ug tag 500 per voters. Sus if you visit the brgy. hall dire sa zapatera, ay nalang ta kung maka ingon ka nga hatagan siya ug award. One more thing, unahon pa jud niya attend sa mga party instead ang mga reklamo sa iyang constituent.

if u think he is not gud enuf then this coming brgy election, dagan mo.. tan-awon lang nato kung mu daug ba moh.. and f ur brave enuf paila mo kung kinsa mo.. bati man kaau, cge mo ug comment unya nagtago mu under sa sayal sa inyong mama.. mas maayo kung ma discuss nako nimo ilang accomplishments face to face para maka sabot sad ka.

too bad, basag unsa inyong esulti or inyong buhaton dili ma affected akong dad and bro.

please check sa files didto sa brgy hall, naa ilang accomplishments didto. palihug lang sad ko ug post sa imuhang accomplishment (if naa man ugaling) para ma compare nato. para sad makita inyong katag.

if I were you ayaw na lang na tubayi mga taw na wlay lain lingaw...
wala sad tay mahimo ana, coz people like them only saw/see the negative stuff or rather what their
eyes wants to see... ^_^
they are blinded... or if not..they refuse to believe na in anything coz ang ilang touhan kay
ug unsa raman ang ilang gustong makit an... ^_^

ug gusto ka makahibaw sa iyang accompishments. open man ka mu bisita sa brgy hall. mga taw raman nga anti benedicto ang murag masunog kong mu sud sa brgy hall.. itago lang nato sa pangalan nga.... secret...

uy, nindota sa accomplishments uy. even the father is humbled by it. but financial distress? c'mon... the benedictos are one of the richest families in cebu. that's the reality check.
