Default Can mock polls/text votes be trusted?

Several mock polls showed that Gibo Teodoro is catching up. Mock polls are unscientific. Do you trust them?

Gibo are using text votes to project that their candidate is catching up. In that sense, mock polls cannot be trusted.

Text votes do not have markings of an indelible ink.

just a small survey anyway. it will not dictate the outcome of 2010 elections.

I think you should not take these mock polls seriously as these are not representative of the whole voting population since these surveys tend to be skewed towards a certain demographic.

But i do think that it can sometimes signify the trend to come the next scientific survey. You can see from these polls how their momentum is. Take for example, Gibo last time i think was below 10% but on these mock surveys we are seeing him with higher numbers, so with that im expecting Gibo % share of the votes to rise in the next survey. Noynoy on the other hand got more than 60% on the last survey, that number is pretty high and given the number of choices for this election and the other candidates gearing up for the campaign, i doubt he will be able to hold that number steady, i think his share will have to go down a number of points.

I guess we will have to see on the next scientific survey...
