sorry to hear this sad story. i am a friend of Jon. i constantly visit him. usually i see the dog on a leash. and so far is friendly to strangers. the guy also has other dogs. and they dont fight. i also know the previous owner of the dog. the dog is a spanish citizen and the dog also has been trained by the previous owner. i own several pitbulls and none of them attack, they dont attack humans and they dont attack other dogs. to give you definite answer mam, the dog that bit your dog was a " boxxer" not a pitbull as mentioned. some pitbull color are brindle just like the boxxer. if you can remember the dogthat attack you dog was kinda taller than the usual pitbull. sorry to hear this mam. sad story kaayo. hes gate usually is close ra ba unta.

Aloneanddying (and to everyone who read and replied to this topic),

First of all, let me apologize for what happened. She is normally held when the gates are opened not because she is known to attack or bite but rather she does not know her way home if she gets out the gate. She too is very friendly. She will just bark if someone is at the gate but the moment they enter she becomes playful. The day it happened we even had guest from the US and they even played with her. Even my 4yr old and younger nephew and niece play with her.

I was at work when it happened thus my dad was the one who talked to you. I understand that you were very hyped due to what happened but you were not also very cooperative. I think you even initially thought my dad was just a househelp thus you looking down and ranted until he answered you in english then you calmed down.

My dad asked for your name and number so that I could call you when i got home. Is it our fault now that we did not offer any assitance to your dogs? When in fact my dad told/offered you that we will let our Vet do a housecall to check on your dogs as she does ours regularly.

Second, our dog is a 3yr. female Boxer (brindle). As bittel mentioned, she was given by my spanish friend who brought her from spain. She has complete papers, shots etc.

Now, since you mentioned that your dogs don't have papers, I would just like to ask if they have complete shots? I don't want my dog dying from the bite of your dogs. My dog too suffered the same wound on the paws and was limping for 2days after the incident.

Our offer still stands to have our Vet check on your dogs. Since you know my name address and number...all you had to do was call and we could have settled this.

Now since you have posted all this incomplete and untrue statements...plus mentioning on "shooting the owner"..."poisoning the dogs"...i could take that as a (public and written) threat.

Its up to you now how to continue this....you have my number.
