people will have to interpret the Bible differently.. like what they are doing now, using science to interpret it differently.. the sad thing is, they are using science to propel further their own agenda, and even to a point of using science to discredit science.. now that's funny..

What's funny about science discrediting science? Isn't that the main purpose of science, to know the truth? If the truth dispels the previous assumption, wouldn't that be better for mankind?

the moment they do that, its kinda hypocritical.. how can they use science to prove their interpretation of the bible in the aim to discredit science.. its like you're using a boat (science) to get some fish (religion), but burning the boat as you get to the middle of the lake..

Here's the problem. A lot of unbelievers or skeptics think that believers should have to remain stuck with the Bible. That's it. Like what most unbelievers have pointed out so many times, it's called blind faith. You believe in something you have no idea about. That, for me, is dangerous, because once unbelievers start to question, they could not defend themselves and, most of all, their faith. Believers are not around to be just laughing stock by people like you.

    Proofs please of such evidence

no comment, because the truth is it will only just fuel more attacks than intelligent discussions. Besides, there's not too much I know of evolution. That is something I can accept. My point lang is I just hope unbelievers would stop thinking that believers (in general) don't know how to think.

maayo kung mao na imong pagtan-aw..

pero unsaon man nimo pagkahibalo unsay tinuod na science ug dili tinuod na science?

Since you believe so much about science, how would you answer your own question?

I agree with you at this point. For believers, it's important to also know more about science. As I mentioned a while ago, blind faith is dangerous. Yet, like what you said, that's what faith is all about. In fact, I would like to believe that the driving force of everything is faith. When it comes to science, you have to believe that the facts you've gathered are accurate, even if there's some room for possible errors.

there's a difference between belief and facts.. one does not have to force facts, they are facts.. whether you accept them or not, they still remain as facts.. but beliefs on the other hand will still remain a belief, and that's why people force them on other's throats..

using science to promote religion just so it could discredit science, that's stupid.. its like you're using a ladder to show that you can climb a tree, but in the end you really intend to burn the ladder, so how can you climb the tree now?

science is always changing.. supplanting the old theories with new ones..

but its not aiming to discredit its own purpose.. its purpose is to just find out the realities of this material universe..

why would science discredit its own self.. if that were the case, science would have ceased questioning already..

then i'm sorry to say this but your faith is weak.. if your faith lies on what is written literally, and that what is written literally is being questioned, does it mean your faith is also being questioned? I thought faith was made of stronger essence..

in this sense, Jesus was so right.. its kinda ironic and paradoxical too.. he says they have little faith but wants them to have faith the size of a mustard seed..

He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

di man gud na mao ang evolution.. sayop man na imong gisulti bro.. ang tawo wa man gikan sa unggoy.. ang unggoy karon ug kita mga tawo kay parehas ta ug ancestors millions of years ago. nilahi lng sila ug grupo, and based on their evolutionary path, nahimo silang unggoy, while kita nahimong humans. parehas ra na sa diversity sa different races karon.. ngano naa may white people, black people? ngano naa may asians, westerners, middle eastern people? wa man lage na sa bible, duha ra man ka tawo gibuhat pag-una.. dis-a man gikan ang ginoo sa kalahi-an sa mga races karon? evolution explains that.. but the bible cannot..
