Dili man malabo iyang gi propose. Pero what's wrong is the reason. If we were to colonize Mars, it would not be for reasons of overpopulation--it would be for reasons that is innate in humans (and most living creatures)--the urge to explore, to seek out new worlds, and to live in the newly discovered worlds.

The important question is not the physical space that individual human beings would occupy ... but the space the resources that individual human beings need. Everyone might fit in Cebu, but those same people already tax the Earth to it's limit.

we can live underwater in the future, we can create farm inside a flourescent lighted rooms .
we can also live under the earth , underground cities , and will keep the forest above the earth .

oh well of course , in the near future we can go ahead and dominate mars / . colonize em . algae will be spread there for the first century enough to create changes in the atmospehere before we can moving there.

a more probable scenario would be men killing each other over scarce resources.. its a lot cheaper than building space rockets...
you cant blame another for such selfish acts.. people will do it for the sake of survival..
in other words.. yup.. were basically screwed

^ according to predicitons , there will be 2 very powerful country in the future ,
america and china ,
and there will be a huge energy scares , and might acause conflict to both nations but 2050 ,
already with a very advance military.
