    Default Mediocre

The best lechon is still Alejo's in Labangon!!!
Honestly its just all the hype that media has made for zubuchon that has made it such a big hit.
Nothing great at all and of course anthony bourdaine would say that zubuchon is the best pig in the world -- well of course he would, hes only tried that 1 lechon when we have hundreds and hundreds of lechonan here in cebu.
Alejo's still the best. Second, Ricos and 3rd Cangs. I dont think zugbuchon even comes close.

yup..sad but true... mas lamian pako sa lechon sa car2x kaysa sa zubuchon...
actually mas lami pa ang lechon sa pino. it was all indeed hype.
i could say marketman's credibility is very questionable.

    Default Now open 24/7

I was in BTC last night and surprised to see Zubuchon available still at 6:30pm. The saleslady told me that starting last night they would be open everyday and have Zubuchon available all day. So I guess you don't have to wait till Sundays to get your Zubuchon.

I actually tried a sample of their unique skin and at 6:30pm it was still crunchy. Not bad but as far as taste goes, I wasn't blown away.

Price was P450 per kilo. They had 1 kilo chopped and packaged in styro and shrink wrap ready for sale. And they even had small boxes I guess if you wanted to take it home on a plane.

usa sa maka affect sa taste is ang baboy mismo, if not the biggest factor. Secondary ra ang spices and method of cooking. If ang imong baboy puros left-over food or lamaw ang kinaon, lahi dyud na og taste sa baboy that was fed feeds or vegetables. ang tambok sa feed-fed baboy dali ra kaayo mahilis inig luto and the meat is much tender.

Mas lamian ko sa inasal nga medium size compared sa dagko nga baboy. Dugay maluto ang dagko that's why the meat dries up na before it gets cooked.

kung maka higayon ko, adto dyud ko sa talisay mo palit og lechon og kanang bag-ong luto, dili ko anang after lunch or kanang gisumpay-sumpay na like the ones being sold at Jai-Alai.
