doing good things in the name of god is nothing compared to doing good things because you wanted to do these things.. doing good shouldnt be a requirement or obligation to a higher being, so we are doing good because of fear instead of doing good because of love?

a loving God would never make such a terrible place for the creations he loved.. when we die, most probably he will ask us if did we enjoy Earth and life he has given us and welcomes us to heaven.. and if we are "sinners" or bad guys, when we die, he tell ask us, "youve been a very naughty person, i hope youve felt the misery ive given you for the pain you infllicted upon others, you may not have enjoyed all of my blessings in earth cause you didnt deserve it anyway, welcome to heaven..

Christian parents (especially Catholics) always use this script to impose upon their innocent Catholic "daw" children. a form of mental/psychological abuse, IMO. there have been documented cases of adults exhibiting abnormal behavior as a result of this abusive brainwash. children tend to bring it with them into adulthood. it is bad enough that some adults who are affected with this would feel like puking when they hear the word "HELL".

Bai...I understand your argument...But based on what you said it made me realize one thing, You don't know my God in a personal way; or his heart.

1. The law was made for the lawless. You see our Constitution can be seen in the ten commandments. Without the law there will be anarchy which can result to chaos..the law was intended to protect you not persecute you. Kung way law na ransacked na imo plantation.

2. Hell was never made for man, it was made for the devil and his angels. it was made to torment him forever. The devil doesn't rule hell it is a place where he will suffer, for that,He will always try to bring with him as many as possible to hell. And the good thing about GOd, He sent Jesus to die for us, in order for us to be saved from all possible hell (may it be on earth or under the earth). But God gaved man the free will, you see God cannot violate your will bro.

3. ...Yes doing good because of love... but to whom? You see i love God, family, and fellow man; because God first loved me. This love resulted me to do good. it became easy for me to do good and be MORAL. I never think of punishment at all.

4. If you allow me to qoute what Jesus said: "I have come to give you life and have it to the fullest". You see God's plan for individuals and families is life to its fullest (be it in heaven and on earth). That is the kind of life that God intended if we are in Him. He is never a taker, he is a giver.

It just a matter of time when "morality" without God will crumble. The body we live in is inclined to immorality. Our heart is decieving, our mind is a battle ground. If God will not rule in this areas. Good luck na lang.
