The concept was first exposed to me at NASA back in the late 80's or very early 90's because of Edgar Mitchell a former astronaut who would often attend various functions and ceremonies. I heard him speak on the subject several times but always informally. Some of the topics were fascinating his moon walk experience, Psi research, Intelligent design, once on transcendental meditation and positive/ negative near death experiences. I had not accepted the scriptures at that time and was moved by the topics.

I had not thought about it, but he may have been one of the steps that led me to accept God. I soon after became a Born Again after our last conversation. I was was impressed by that Texas Boy, he was a broad thinker that actually walked on the moon. In a way he probably helped save my soul.
