natural traditions nga gitudlo sa mga apostol. basaha ragud ug tarong ang verse.

2Th 2:15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

traditions nga gitudlo sa mga apostol ang angay natong sundon...sa Katoliko bah?

i agree.. it is referring to Apostolic tradition.. and we cannot say that the Catholic tradition is the apostolic one because of the Catholic Church's dark history like the killings made (which are of course not a tradition of the Apostles)

Is the dark history of the church you said like killings is part of the church tradition? if so, the church is still killing those heretics until now?

they are not killing anymore(at least publicly)..
we are not seeing it now because the Catholic Church is not as powerful as it was back then...and maybe it has changed to a better one

and i can say that it is (or should i say WAS) a tradition because it was passed on from one generation to another(during those dark times) ..[The word tradition comes from the Latin traditionem, acc. of traditio which means "handing over, passing on",]...

There is no precise date for the beginning of the Inquisition, most sources agree it manifested during the first 6 years of the reign of the catholic pope, Gregory IX, between 1227 and 1233. Pope Gregory IX who ruled from 1227-1241 is often referred to as the "Father of the Inquisition." (The Inquisition)

but i should say that THAT TRADITIOn is not anymore a tradition of today...

my point is, many Catholic Traditions are not APOSTOLIC Traditions..
