Good evening!

First of all, thank you officers, participants of the exhibit and ACErs who went and joined the meeting awhile ago.

These are what we have come up and agreed upon:

1] The ACE membership is ANNUAL, for 500 pesos you get to have these perks:

a) ACE ID
b) Discount on sponsor Pet Shops.
c) Free registration on seminars and lectures on planted aquarium or pertaining to aquatic flora and fauna.
d) Get first hand information on what are the up coming stocks (flora, fauna, and/or accessories) from our sponsor pet shops.
e) raffles (plants, fish, accessories)
20% discount on membership fee for students.



And we are very much happy to announce that the 1st Aquatic Cebu Enthusiasts Planted Aquarium Exhibit in cooperation with Piper's Petshop will be on December 11-13, 2009 at PARKMALL ground floor, Reclamation Area Mandaue City.

good evening mga sir! i dnt knw if itz related 2 ur interests, but i have this particular problem, nka purchase kug 2 ka fire bellied newt (cynops orientalis) sa white gold last thursday, then, hn2d karun wa pa cla mu eat ayun sa akun ge provide na food bsae from the caresheets from the net, so um, my question is, is it normal?

sa firebellied newt, kadtong naa ko ani sa una, nikaon raman ug ngoyo2x.ug kanang dried shrimps nga para sa RES. basin stressed ra na sila.pwede pud ibutang nimu sila somewhere dili init ang water, more on cold water dwellers man gud na sila. and naa silay mataguan pud. at first mahadlok jud na sila...

sa akoa sa una sir, akong gi butang sa hc sa akong aquarium nga naay tabon nga glass, pero naay about an inch nga abli (gap) for air exchange, just to keep humidity high and dili ma ughan ang HC, sprayhan nimu once in a while to make sure dili uga. ang substrate pwede ra clay bottom then riversand ang babaw. hope that helps sir.

there are 2 ways..
pwede nimo i tanom daan sa imong tank, then emmerse lang sah siya dinha.. (meaning wala lang sa water..
2nd one is, imong i tanom sa isa ka container, then butang nimo gawas para maigo sunlight. then once daghan na, transfer to tank.

kuan diay katong imong cuttings ba nga murag payong payong kanang sa left most side sa atubangan.

kusog kaayo mo tubo, ang duha nimo ka cuttings nahimo na og 5 ka stems kay ga cut ko a few days ago, ni lapas na sa tubig lamat daghan.

ang hydrila kay kusog pod kaayo mo tubo ako na putlan e butang sa mga betta tanks hehe

lights: 2 14 watt T5.. (low light au ko...bt ok au performance sa T5..)
co2: DIY ra kaya...
substrate: clay topped with riversand.
scape: bato bato bato bato bato.. hehehe! puro bato!
tubig: tap water mixed with rain water..
flora:glosso, hairgrass, stargrass, pearlweed, wisteria, nessea sp, subulata, l. repens, h. polysperma (narrow leaf), medusa, alternanthera, l. glandulosa, mermaid weed, l. aromatica, cabomba, bacopa monieri, riccia, najas sp, nessea pedicellata.. nasulod ra man pud sa 25 gallon nga tank.. hahaha!
fauna: cardinal tetra,neon tetra, pink danio, rummy nose, rcs, local/ghost shrimp, nerites..
