di na rin maganda 24oras. primetime news report is somewhat a magazine show. no in-depth reporting, puro mababaw na news. dapat nga yung mga news abt nag aaway na asawa di na isali sa primetime. no wonder abot 90mins ang airtime. o.a. na rin mike enriquez. abt tvp, ok pa rin naman. i do wtch local news sa gma7 at abs. bt most of the time, anc at net25 me.

Look, Gibo is interviewed in TV Patrol with Ted Failon. If ABS is biased then why give airtime to a candidate perceived to be an opponent of majority of the stakeholders of the station.

Thats the problem of Gloria administration. Its onion skinned. It wants media to praise it profusely even if it is commiting corruption one after the other. IT WANTS MEDIA TO LIE! It wants media to HIDE THE TRUTH.

The government wants to control the people by spreading lies and half truths that is why a media like ABS is discredited as biased and tabloid.

But lucky for the Filipino, we have a TRUE MEDIA who only wants for the truth to come out.

TV news was "dinagkong tawo" Everything was "proper" By around late 70s, some bright guys (and who can blame them) started to shift the news to "show biz" type. Butangan na nila ug mga sexy, or guapa, etc ... and the contests had a bit of sleaze every now and then ... and since the viewing public obviously loved it ... nayawa na dayon tanan. hehehehe

Did you see how they made fun the issue on Pacquiao alleged love affair with Krista?! They got footage of Jinkee crying and tried to made up stories... They didn't even know the reasons why Jinkee cried, and almost everyday you gotta hear news about Pac-Krista. That's tabloid.

I wish they will follow AL JAZEERA, they're balanced and substantive.
