Can I have my input on that re: thread title. I'm not offended by it in any sense na cge ko argue diri. I used to work in call centers as well for the record. It's just that to say that "jobs like that numb all your senses and what's your achievement in that? that twang?" is quite funny, in an irritating way, coming from someone who might possibly don't have any idea about call centers in the first place. never worked there. period. aside from that employment daw requires no brains. how narrow minded these so called businessmen are. and to think that they're supposed to have a broad point of view.
All of a sudden I'm turned off by the supposed show of ingenuity here, like why would i even listen to someone who can't even provide the proof of business they supposedly have. I'd rather read entrepreneur mags and get points from the real businessmen there. Pity 'cause I keep reading here in the biz section pa naman and then we get all these businessmen whose mind set is so crooked...
Again for the record, not ALL. sorry i have to keep emphasizing that. you know why.

p.s. for the record, i already had my twang before i worked for the call center. hahaha!

LOL. I, 101%, pity the people working for you. What can I say mediocre people work for mediocre businessmen?! ??
since balik2x ka sa topic ana, balik2x pod ko sa topic na sour graping. you sound like you are the one who's sour graping around here. k cge man ka balik2x sa comments na its harsh but its reality. duh! na lay off ka sa previous jobs mo? i'm just wondering.
ahm.. im the one laying off the jobs, though it hurts me.. it has to be done... and also.. ive never had a job before in my life.. the closest to thing to a job i had was an independent agent.. no plan in getting one.. im just not comfy lang cguro nga naa boss

and also.. i own somewhat significant shares in some callcenters here in the country.. i know dynamics within a typical company.. i dont know, you dont know, you might be working for a company which i partially own.. (i really have no interest in call center management.. im more of a capitalist, if it makes money good, if not then its not good)

i like to drive the nail hard.. i want to remind everybody not to get complacent.. reality is harsh.. getting comfortable is not good.. employees and businessmen alike should not get too comfortable.. dynamics could shift at anytime

you may good at what you do, that doesnt mean theres nobody else who is as good as you , there are many of them as good or even better than you.... and yes.. if youve read my other posts, i do it like a military operation.. effeciency is a virtue..

great businessmen make wonders out of mediocre employees..

once a business relies on its employees for its survival, its in deep trouble.. if the employees call the shots, leadership is weak and organization is collapsing.. running a business is not a democratic process..

you may be smart, youve read lots of textbooks, but the ways of the world arent as what you have been taught.. you need street wisdom..

naa lang ko gusto iccomment ani ha..

you dont need to quit your job while going into business..

mao na ako ingon, but TS stated it the other way.. read up again his first post..
wala siya ga ingon nga don't just stick to your CC job but go into business.. iya gi state gani didto nga there is still another job out there and any business is better than your call center job.

Hmmm.. Murag dli gyud na mao iya pasabot.

But, dli naman ni mao ang topic run diri. Puro naman OT.

And... No, i think no call center agent is offended by the thread title. If you read the posts closely, it is clear that the TS and a lot of other people who responded don't have any idea what it is or what it takes to be a call center employee. I say employee because not all people working in a call center are agents.

Hmmm for sure I am not working for you if I'm working in a CC. K for sure the company that you supposedly own, are those that cater to scams. oh, ask your supposed employees in your supposed call center what i mean by that. that is if you really own one.

(i really have no interest in call center management.. im more of a capitalist, if it makes money good, if not then its not good) - OMG, you actually go into a business you know nothing about??!! You call yourself a businessman? no interest, wlang alam. simple!

you may be smart, youve read lots of textbooks, but the ways of the world arent as what you have been taught.. you need street wisdom.. - YES I AM SMART, YES I READ LOTS OF TEXTBOOKS, AND YES I KNOW MORE ABOUT THE WORLD THAN YOU DO, YOU IDEALISTIC SO CALLED BUSINESSMAN. WHAT GIVES YOU THE AUTHORITY THEN TO BERATE EMPLOYEES? TO EVEN SAY THAT WE DONT USE OUR FULL POTENTIAL.
