OT:
Ay, nanaway because I'm rallying behind the other camp...
But look at the people who you agree with, aren't they way off topic sometimes? and you never said a word to them...
Besides, if you followed from the start we decided to include the employed in general rather than just concentrating on the call center jobs...
'nuf said...
I'm reading the "business and economics" and the "buy and sell" sections because here is where I could get an idea of a "possible need" that I could possibly fill in. A good start for a new business idea.
But, I think you also need to read on what you previously posted:
Did it also occur to you that you may also be hindered but what you called "RESISTANCE"? And thus the reason why you are one-sided. If you start reading from POST 1, no body is actually saying that going to business is a bad idea. However, that doesn't necessary mean that Any Business Is Better Than Your Call Center Job or any other job for that matter. It is this "RESISTANCE" that hinders people from gaining financial freedom...that is why we need reprogramming of our inner self, para mawagtang na ning mag sigeg dictate sa imong thinking to resist.
On a general thought: Didn't it also come up on your business minds that being employed on a company which is "related" to a business venture you plan to put up is also a very good way to learn?
Again, I can show you proof that this is not really the case. Before you go on adding or discussing about why you can say that "Any Business Is Better Than Your Call Center Job", please care to present the same (proof). Otherwise, there really is nothing to talk about here.

To be a call center agents is good, but keep in mind that dont make it as your permanent source of income because it's a survival income. Survival income because the salary you've receive from the company will be spent to Food, Shelter, clothes, etc. and what's left? Because mindset of most Filipinos are "SPEND first and whats left SAVE", question: "WHAT'S LEFT?"
If business bro, pili-a lang jud ang tarong, especially sa mga taw nga involved sa business, then sa business pud it depends on you, depends on what you feel that you will be successful.

tinood.. with business, their is no limit.... sa employee, you may get a good paycheck and your income moves in increments not exponents.. where as business, your exponential factors are your number of businesses and the exponential factors of the businesses are products n services...
it might also be interesting to mention that most employees that became businessmen are those who didnt have office jobs.. simply because, they are more aware of the surroundings..

resistance, no need to explain... this thread has many of it..
tinood.. thats why dili jud maau magsalig lang sa imo trabahoo.. dont expect your call center job to be enough to spend for your children when they enter college.. dont forget, wala na baya pre-need plans... sa business, di man kaau lisod magpa increase sa imo earnings.. but you really need extra management efforts.. (mao ni nga part ang daghan ma boang)
watch for my next thread... "WHY MOST START-UP BUSINESSES FAIL"

if you really want a job, make you business as PLAN B, incase you will layed-off from your work you still have an anothe source of income, which is your PLAN B.
You can still have you Call Center job, advice lang, build a business out from your salary as a Call center agent.
There are so many business raises out there that can be work on part time.
