You could be very well correct, but maybe the term "Unconfirmed Atheist" should be used instead of the term "Closet Atheist". It sounds like Atheist have to come out of the closet to be recognized. The gays have that terminology pretty much sowed up for themselves. Just a thought.
i am no religious person but i have my respects to any religion there is. besides, the belief of such gives some people a little sense of fear. i hate to debate spiritual beliefs because somehow the arguments are never ending.
and it seems that Religion has also been misunderstood, corrupted and misused. allot of people directly judges religion when a man uses his religion to commit something he extremely believes in. when in fact those actions were just a reflection of an individual's understanding of his belief on his religion and not necessarily reflected from the religion itself. just like Muslim religion, for years it has been scrutinized because some of its believers made some extreme actions using Islam. and in fact those actions were only a reflection of the understanding of the few.
No I do not think so, but I guess it is possible that some "Closet Atheist" could have "Closet Gays" in there families. I am am sure most Atheist are not gay. Whether most Gays are Atheist? I have no earthly idea to tell you the truth. And it is possible that some homophobes could in fact be "Closet Gays" living in denial. Could a Gay Homophobic Atheist still be in the closet? Well that may also be possible too, after all it is a big big world.
I have know several gays that were very religious beings. Atheist I can not make such claims; and homophobes could be either atheist or religious. The problem is you have homophobes who are scared too death of anything that even closely resembles anything gay-like in nature. I am sure that some homophobes could be Atheist, and would never admit anything that implies they "Come Out of the Closet."![]()
you know.. makatawa nlang ko dire...
for such noble people as what your religion teaches you, why cant you just leave the athiests alone...
it goes to show nga naa jud manga tao gusto mo impose sa ila concept sa morality og sa ila beliefs even if theirs is not welcome..
for christian/muslim/jew/hindu or whatever dire nga grabe ka assertive nga sakto lage jud iya faith, you are asking for religious freedom while kamo mismo nag harass sa mga athiest who wants to practice their own beliefs.. mao diay na sakto? hypocrisy..
I think that is a good question. Most would not care enough to say anything. It is like when out in the water you see someone drowning.
They have the right to drown if they choose, if they do not want to drown is not the issue, if they did not want to drown why did they swim out so far? Just let them drown. There is a large crowd standing on the beach watching that person drown. They are content to just watch, as the person struggles with the currents trying to take them away.
Then there are the few that are willing to jump in and help, just in case they heed help and desire not to drown. Many will not say a thing, me I would jump in and help, not everyone is just willing to watch. You have to forgive us it is our nature. We care, and never think someone is just willing to sink to the depths. You are correct and everyone should just say nothing, but scripture tells us otherwise. We do what we do out of love, while others and you are offended. God just wires some of us different, we just can not help it, we jump in when others want to just watch. Which is right and which is wrong? That depends on the depths of your compassion towards your fellow man.
That falls under Morality and the lack of it. Some men have desires which could lead to taboos or evil acts. It is whether they choose act on those desires that it becomes a problem or a sin. Every man has the choice to act or not act. No man has the right to judge another man, because all men have sins. No man has the right to think they are better than another man, or their sins are less than another man's sins. Sin is Sin.
Just because you believe in a God, or call yourself Christian does not mean you are perfect and better than the lowest sinner. It how you live your life that frees you, by our actions and not just our words.
