This post unfortunately exposed your failings and basic understandings of both World and American History. You actually are not bright and clever, rather you are quite average. Prove me wrong.

You always demand proof and facts, yet never actually provide any real evidence yourself. That is not a good trait.

Show your proof:
Leninist and Stalinist Russia were religious and not Atheist states
Mao's China was religious and not Atheist "Read the Dali Lama's accounts of his meeting with Mao"
Some of the Greatest Founding Fathers were in fact Atheist, and just "How Many" is some out of the 204.

i probably worded it wrongly and it was an honest mistake (none of America's forefathers admitted to Atheism, and that's the FACT). so... let me rephrase that if you will.

-Jefferson once said "Christianity is the most perverted system that ever shone on man" --- which can be compatible with deism at the same time Atheism.

-James Madison described anti-clericalism by saying "During almost fifteen centuries has the legal establishment of Christianity been on trial. What have been its fruits? More or less in all places, pride and indolence in the Clergy, ignorance and servility in the laity, in both, superstition, bigotry and persecution."

-John Adams stated "This would be the best of all possible worlds, if there were no religion in it."

...and of course, the same can be said with Benjamin Franklin when he said "Lighthouses are more useful than churches."

how ridiculous and bias is that James. yes, Stalin and Mao were atheists---but they didn't kill millions of people because they were atheists. as to whether atheism systemically influences people to do bad things, there is not a slight evidence for it.

if hitler believe in Christianity, he wont kill the jew... it so happen he believe on something totally different from christianity. No where we differ, is every day I try to fit the pieces of the bigger puzzle together, but I use all the pieces of religion and science to find the larger picture. You try to make the pieces you choose to fit into your own concept of what the puzzle should be.

nope. in reality you are not solving a bigger puzzle coz if you were, you wouldn't be making such stunning conclusive statements about the Bible without REAL back up evidence. the burden of proof is on you to disprove your belief. until now, you and 99% of Christians cannot give validity to your beliefs. thus, it is as good as delusion.

Yes I am sure your year of History taught you so much and then you make statements that show you actually know very little. I have studied history longer than you have been alive, and I still do not have a total grasp. You could devote a year to study just one decade in history and not know everything that occurred in that decade. The Revolutionary war, Civil war, WW1, the Great Depression, WW2, Cold war, Vietnam each of these events changed and influenced America as we now know it. You don't know squat yet.

i do not claim to know tons of information on history. however, i am willing to read and learn about history. even devoting a whole life studying history is not enough. just look at you---you also don't know squat yet. it's pretty evident.

What does and Agreement with Barbary Pirates written 20 years after the country was founded, have to do with the Founding Father and their core beliefs when establishing the foundations of the United States, or America being founded on Christian values?

- signed the Constitution of the United States of America

no worries---you didn't burst any little lie bubble. you keep arguing that America has been founded on core religious values but you deny the fact that our forefathers were secularists so you take secularism out of the equation and keep injecting RELIGION in America's foundation. you did not or cannot present any evidence of your argument, therefore it is not valid to say contradictory statements about America's history.

do not ignore the significance of the Treaty of Tripoli. this Treaty was drafted in 1796 under George Washington and signed by John Adams in 1797.

seriously, do you even know anything about this treaty. have you read it? i suggest you do, because it details what America IS NOT. your biased religious views make you anxious to push your own version of America's history. you keep telling me to know my history and i know little about it. well, everytime you tell me that, i'll pass it on to you. your turn.
