i have a friend who was hired in JP Morgan Chase just recently for an HR position...he told me the rate of their agent starts @ 25K but they'll not gonna start hiring for agents not until next year, daw?...isn't it wonderful? what do u think about the support?

I have a question if you don't mind. Most of the job openings here in Cebu are call center related. As I have read from other forums that JP Morgan Chase also has back office jobs in Manila. Any idea on their job functions? Thanks...

yes, jpmorgan has been in manila since the 80's. it's the regular bank, but they handle only investment. you know, big accounts. big banks here in the philippines have accounts with them.

the ones expanding are the call centers. even though, it's good to be part of jpmchase bec u will not be considered a call center agent but a bank employee with a big salary since their call center is in-house, not outsourced like etel, convergys, sykes, ps, etc.

the ones in the call center back office are research. is that what your asking? there are many departments so it's confusing. they call up vendors & other institutions to facilitate processes (fax, receive, document, etc.)

@ borgy and ryan: support akong gi applyan. final interview ganina...i asked about the credit card thing. they told me that if you are a delinquent payer then, you would not be hired. i also asked about their live date and they told me its going to be march next year. they would not be hiring agents until last week of december or early january.

by the way, they would not let you sign the contract unless you are done with the requirements but they of course will discuss the JO with you.
