The Philippines still has it's strengths in the SEA Economic competition......... we have currently the largest technological output in export with a score of 72 - 75 percent which is the highest Southeast Asia. We have a strong domestic economy that's why I don't worry too much about low exports. WE have a strong currency. We have the advantage in the BPO sector........... what we just need is to develop them further and equally diversify the economy so we can be at our best and lastly............ honest politics!

Well we should take our part in uplifting the country's economy; right now the country looks on tourism and investing on IT and IT-enabled services something that is promoted by Cebu City. Well with time and effort we could be one of the tiger economies here in Asia.

It is amazing to note that in one article, Philippines after World War II was one of Asia's largest economy next to Japan. In 1960's it was forcasted to become one of the world's superpowers but it fell short during the Marcos regime. After Marcos, our country is recovering with higher recovery during Arroyo's term.
