We are lucky that even if we're on a small island but we are ranked next to Luzon and Mindanao as the most valuable ISLANDS in the country. We for sure can survive in a Federal Republic and can even flourish even more.

Are you in favor of Federalsim?

    Ans:

Yes, simply because the entire country has ever been dependent on "Imperial Manila" which is not good if we consider the progress of the entire archipelago (which encompasses all the regions in the country). It is also because the Centralized Government has turned disadvantage on the poorer provinces but with Federalism coming, more power will be given to the LGU's and Provinces can very much utilize their own money without waiting for allocations from Manila.

Federalism creates a new layer of bureaucracy. Each states will have its own breaucracy, more taxes going to salaries and operating cost of new departments instead of project and services to the people. ayaw ko ingna mogamay ang corruption kung mag federalism ta kay daghan na gyud hinuon naa sa pwesto na mangukoy sa kwarta sa gobyerno.

Agree ko nimo bro ... but ang problema ani there are provinces that is not financially stable they even cannot afford to build school building ... kuhaan pa gu tax sa Federal Government samot ka purdoy.

Ang solution ana i think these provinces will be subsidized by the Federal Government and Exempted sila sa tax .. the burden here is from the Rich Provinces kay sila man maka afford.

Anyway thats the way how it will be started mura mo agi pa ug disaster ... but hopefully we will succeed.

God Bless the UNITED STATES OF PHILIPINNES.

Its a struggle jud to run these system, very complex and loop, but its better this way than having dependent sa Imperial Manila.

Sure jud ko pinaka rich nga State ani in the Long Run ang Mindanao kay naa tanan resources which is until now is untapped.
