Naa ba'y med student diri o doctor?

..just wanna ask...im a 2nd yr med student.... ingon sila gamay na lang...pero i know dugai pa kaau...
and everyday i always try to force myself to go to school... i'm tired...

question nako is... have u ever been tired of it?? nya have u ever asked why u got urself into this? (c0z i keep asking myself the same question everyday) and lastly, how do you deal with that kind of feeling?
it's crazy.... haiz** lami i-undang kung dili lang mahal ang tuition ug mauwaw q sako mama ug papa...

nahan ayu ko sa una mg doctor, pero pag 3rd yr nko sa velez, pwerte na ka puga akong utok, den ala na pud budget for medicine, so i opted to practice my profession na lng..padayun sa med oiu den pag USMLE dayun, mka suya akong batch kay doctor na sila den suroy suroy pa dyud taman sa US. im happy and proud of them.. utonga lng gud na..nice na kaau ang feeling kung naa nay MD sumpay imo name..

i thought sa una sayon ra kay nakapasar man akong mga agaw...before i went to med my cousin told me not to proceed,,, mag.nurse na lang daw ko maau pa..kay gkapoi sad daw xa sa iyang time and bisag karon na doctor na xa, kapoi daw sad japon... siempre...i just graduated from nursing then..i was lost.... i thought my best option was continuing my studies kay safe.. school japon.. pero since 1st yr hangtud karon, mura man ug gipiga akong utok.... kuyawan q sa grades sad...hai*

ikaw, di nimo tiwason? sayang...1 yr school na lang and 2 yrs pract.... doctor na sad ka...

@ TS: hey, throughout ur med life, or even b4 that, ull hear thousands of advice about becoming a doctor. they wud always say na kelangan love jud nimo pagka-doctor k or else, d jud nimo mkaya ang med skul.well, il be honest with u, i ddnt want to b a doctor in the 1st place...for so many reasons, one of them being that it would take a lot of time away from ur family and loved ones.also, a career here in d phils is not so promising financially. but then wen u start ur internship, kanang makakta na ka ug patients, u might have a change of heart. for me, 1st year med was the toughest year. 2nd year was ok2 lng k medtech man gud akong pre-med so familiar na ang subjects. 3rd year lisod pud. 4th year pinaka-kapoy k internship so lowest form of life ka but lingaw ra pud bya. its really up to u jud f u want to pursue this. weigh the pros and cons. remember na there r ppl hu wud have wanted to bcome a doctor but then wla nlng k d nla kaya financially. but i also hav friends hu quit med n r now happy with their lives. just make sure na whatever decision u make, ull be ready to accept the consequences...

kapoy pud baya. problema pd kos akong grades karon samotan pa ug mga classmates na maka stress..haha we can do this!!! we shall not fail and we'll become the best doctors of the future! =) be optimistic!

@maddoz_pitt. i understand what you feel. i have my nephew 1st year pa as c.i.m. puga naman iya utok but he is determined to become a doctor. think what is the best option for you. good luck!

1st yr was tough... i found histology really hard.... pero 2nd yr is tougher.... swerte lagi mga medtech..murag wala lang sa ilaha ang medtech-related na subjs...which mostly are our major subjects....

i know..i should be grateful kay despite sa kalisod sa life karon my parents opted to send me to med school... they didnt force me..that's for sure...though it had always been assumed that i'll one day study medicine... it's much tougher to quit now kay diba?wala q gipugos ani... niya kalit lang mustop na q..
pero tinuod jud na oi, di nako mafeel na happy q.. i also never wanted to become a doctor...my passion is not for medicine..i wanted to become an architect/painter/photographer.. pero narealize nako dili sayon i.pursue ang ing.ato na career..... dili man promising ang pagkadoctor diri financially pero at least kahibaw q na stable... and that time naglisod q papa (who was in that line of work) so tan-aw nako mas maau nlng guro musunod q sako mama...pero, it's not easy pala...
i've thought of the possibility of quitting...well actually doc, upat mi na gnahan na mu.quit karon.... mangaply nalng q abroad ana...pero...it's hard pala to decide...much more tell your parents that you cant take the pressure anymore...

can i ask doc, what did you do para makaovercome ka sa stresses that med life can offer?
and, naa ba mo'y classmates na cheater pud?? la lang...kay one the reasons nganong di q ganahan sad kay nay cheaters...and they make themselves known to us....nya bati lang kay if ever mudako ilang grades ang uban gamay, ang mean mutaas sad...last yr, na'y nahagbong tungod ana...makalagot kay ang cheaters na tagsa ra musud nakapasar tungod sa cheating and TPs..

mao'y diff guru namo..aq..im not so sure......
there are times na i want to do this....
pero, more often, i think the stress and pressure is eating me up...
i hope i can be as determined as him... Good Luck to him :P
