    @ jamesmusslewhite

    you said this
Yes and some are upside-down and backwards. Does not mean I have to be because other's choose to do so..
your idea of what is correct and just is relative to your understanding ang measure.. any belief that is far or opposite to what you believe in, you consider as foolish.. no matter how you look, any person who goes against your direction will always appear going backward.. its only relative to your perspective..

    you said this:
No and I never stated that, I stated that each man will face the Final Judgment and be judged for your actions and deeds. Followers of Christ are free from that judgment. That's the rules, sorry I did not make them but I will follow them.

hahaha.. mkatawa nlang ko... so even if mopatay ko tao follow lang ko ni christ, ok ra..cge go.. ill get my m16 sa ha.. daghan kaau holes im argument.. so special people jud diay followers of christ huh? but the muslims claims they are special too.. so kinsa man jud diay sakto? hahaha.. if you are correct, the other is wrong.. if the other is correct, then you are wrong.. kang kinsa man na nga rules oi? whoever made that didnt consider other's beliefs..

James thinks he is better than the rest of us because he thinks of us as inexperienced young punks angry of the world around him, while he's an accomplished botanist slash scientist who worked for NASA for 12 years. it really makes me wonder how or why he believes GOD created the world in six days and at the same time say the earth is 15 million years the Big Bang. hahaha!

oh noes... i beg to disagree. you can't compare being a bible fanatic to getting addicted to computer games. the benefits and dangers of being a Bible fanatic far outweighs that of computers. follow the Bible literally and take it out of its context, and you're in for the ride of your lifetime. a lot of Christians are easily brainwashed by pastors who think nothing more than their own benefit---even saying things like:

    "GOD will save you"
"Give 10% of your income to the church so you will be saved!"

nya ang kwarta adto padung sa ilang pitaka. even that in itself is VERY dangerous. it causes people to be stagnant. it makes them stop to think critically.

Sorry to dissapoint you, Im no satanist. Heck, I don't believe in Satan or fairies for that matter.

The thing is, you don't know for sure whether or not your belief is Satan's trick or not, and THAT is the truth. You said it yourself, Satan is a pretty good deceiver

You can follow God and still be a scientist, somehow you seem to have a problem with that. That is just how it is. I can not deny the existence of God and Jesus with what I have seen for myself. I am what I am and will not change. I am still a good scientist, a damn good Botanist. I just do not wish to spit in God's face. I am what I said I am, and need not lie to try to impress any member on this forum. Sorry but none of you matter that much to me to try to impress strangers. This is not one of those dating sites
BS. provide your sources and citations.

you mention benefits and dangers but you are only describing the dangers of being Bible fanatic but not about its benefits and the benefits and dangers of addiction to computer games... isn't it bias? you are comparing both but then you only describe the other one

those bible fanatics, someday they will benefit more from it, there are some hidden knowledge in the bible and it will not be difficult for them when they dig deeper in those verses

so you mean you are not spending money when you play computer games?

they also spend their money because they gain something from it, they benefit from it... it doesn't matter kung asa padulong ang kwarta, dba? just like computer games... programmers made those games of which you push buttons and spend much time pushing those buttons and asa padulong ang kwarta, di syempre sa ilang bulsa but ok lng nimo ky lingaw man ka cge tuslok sa keyboard and buttons

try to think that all of us has limitations... just like you, you are limited that there is no God, that no matter how you may think and how you may research and use the highest knowledge in science, there is no God

about this 10% of the income... i see that most Roman Catholic are poor and most of the religion nga naa tithing are better in terms of financial, why? because there is universal law for that... as you give so shall you receive... and it doesn't matter kung asa nimo ihatag as long as nihatag ka... kasagaran sa katoliko, mo attend ug simba pero d gani mohatag d ba, mo take pa ug communion... unya those rich RCs samot ka rich ky muhatag man gyud, mao sab ni ang mga nahitabo sa mga religion nga naa tithing... and tithing is not limited to religion only... i remember a lecture on tithing (not religion) from someone of great wisdom... he exemplify to us that harvesting of wheat or rice... you sell the 90% and the 10% itanom ug balik to produce more wheat or rice ky kung ibaligya tanan, wa naka matanom, wala na maani sa sunod, dba?

sa ato pud makita, countries nga nag praktis ug hatag ug tips, are rich countries

because he thinks of us as inexperienced young punks angry of the world around him,
No I do not think all members are inexperienced young punks, but many are, and display it on a regular basis here on the forum. Most men of great renown start out as inexperienced young punks, and is part of man evolution from a smart-mouth know-it-all wet-behind-the-ears Punk acting kids, to wise venerable pillars of their communities. The trick is learning that just having a dick does not make one a man.

Lets see you uses every opportunity to insult and belittle the Bible, church, God, and Christians; but you are not agree. Well it sure sounds like Atheist are the happiest people in the world to me. But you do not need to tell me why.

while he's an accomplished botanist slash scientist who worked for NASA for 12 years.
I am not an accomplished botanist. I never pursued my Doctorate, have no Theory named after me, and I am not a Noble Laureate or Holder. I am just a biologist and practicing botanist. I only worked for NASA for 11 years (well 10 years 11 months), but so did a lot people. NASA is just a job like any other job, just really good benefits. NASA employs a lot of folks. You fancy yourself as an authority of science and what a scientist should actually be, so why don't you apply for a job there?

it really makes me wonder how or why he believes GOD created the world in six days and at the same time say the earth is 15 million years the Big Bang. hahaha!
How can I believe the earth was created in 6 days and the universe is 15 billion years old. Simple I understand the Hebrew text has been misinterpreted. I am still a man of science and understand Einsteins theory of relativity, why Newton law of Gravity had to be revised so it works in the whole of the universe. I understand that all the Suns, stars, planets, and space litter makes up less than 5% of the mass required to hold the universe together, that Dark Matter is only 20% of the required mass, and 70% of our universe is comprised of a mass called Dark Energy which is invisible misunderstood undiscovered concept of mass that moves around and through us constantly.

Now if that interest you than look at this 5 part video by an accomplished MIT Physicist. He can explain it better than I. Watch the video.

Dr. Gerald Schroeder Genesis & The Big Bang Theory (1 of 5)
YouTube - Dr.Gerald Schroeder Genesis & The Big Bang Theory (1 of 5)
The worst thing that can happen watching the videos is that you will learn something new. Or at least you will have something else to ridicule.

No you follow whether you choose to realize it are not, does not change the reality of conscious acts or admonishes one from those acts. One can choose denial of the world, but it does not change it's existence and does not protect you from it. In Law the claim of ignorance or denial of a law, does not exonerate you from the punishment for breaking that law.

I do not know if the light in my refrigerator goes out every time I close the door, must I am not going to live in my refrigerator to be sure, nor will I choose to remove the bulb all together. I have faith it turns off and continue with my life. I get insulted, ridiculed, and persecuted by organized religion, atheist and non-believers constantly, no I believe I am on the right track. Satan has lost me.

B.S.? This show just how little you actually know. Remember "Fallacious Appeal to Authority"?

In 1996 and again in 1998, Pulitzer Prize winner Professor Edward Larson of the University of Georgia and Washington Times reporter Larry Witham teamed up to duplicate Leuba’s study in an effort to determine if scientists’ religious beliefs have changed much over the last 65 years. Larson and Witham found that 40% of American scientists still believe in a personal God. This does not include scientists who believe in an impersonal God or in a God who does not answer prayer. Nor does it include scientists who believe in a personal God, but don’t believe in the immortality of the human soul. If we were to take them into consideration, the percentage would likely be higher.
    Hope this answers your questions.

First you actually need to read the New Testament and you can answer that one for yourself. Everyone thinks they are special, everyone thinks they are right, everyone wants to live in denial. A storm is coming and you better be prepared. Read the New Testament and learn for yourself, or learn the hard way later. I can not do it for you.

All men will be subject to the Final Judgment and second death. Past, now, and future. Those who accept Christ as their savior will have their sins forgiven so they are not part of the Judgment or the Second Death. It is simple, not complicated, and it will not change or be altered. You may not like it, but so what. That is God's will...deal with it.
    Read the Book for yourself.

America is not the whole scientific community you know.**
And you did say "40% of all scientist are now Christians". Nowhere did it say they were Christians.
Personal God is not automatically the Christian one. Hence, I called BS.

But then again, what does religion have to do with good or bad science?
For some added trivia, ever heard of Project Steve? google time james.

**So ok, most of the studies on these stuff is done in the US, I understand why you used this.
