not to disrespect you or anything, but again and again, just because you are at the prime of your life and have lots of experience doesn't make you wiser than any of us. a lot of Atheists devoted their lives in various research and believe that God is nothing more than a scientific hypothesis. HE CANNOT BE PROVEN NOR DISPROVEN. you, on the other hand, as a scientist devoted 12 years of hard research and concluded that there is a GOD. if that is so, why can't you prove it? you only prove it through your faith which just doesn't cut it.

No I feel no disrespect, because in my earlier years I stood right where you are. It was a long path to reach were I am today. I doubted the scriptures, but latter I began to study the doubters around me where the source of my doubts and their agendas and resources. I read the sciences and sat in large rooms of scientific minds engaged in heated debates. This debate is over timelines, misinterpretations of the Hebrew text, and the many limitations of science. You want to replace God with science. Been there, done that. Science can not cure cancer (yes they can cut it out, or burn it out) but not cure or prevent it, can not cure the Common cold, reproduce Photosynthesis in a lab, understand 96% of the mass of the Universe (Dark mater, and Dark energy), science knows more about the dark side of the moon than what lies the depths of our ocean, 6 billion people and there are spots on the surface of this earth yet to be explored. And you want them to explain GOD. I have seen renowned science and scientist be overturned, I watched signs of "Stop the Ice Age" turn into "Start the Ice Age". I never stop reading and never stop learning, and never forget the Histories of the world, cultures, and religions. I can see through the crap, and can see the lie, and just choose to follow. I trust nothing of man, not Governments, movies, TV, internet, books, news media, newspapers, organized religions, not one member on this forum or any other forum. They are all controlled and have one systematic single purpose, to control your life, you, and your beliefs.

Do not assume that because you are young that you are correct or wiser than everyone either. I will admit my short comings, mistakes, and flaws. You can not make that claim, for you have to feel that you are correct to the point of rudeness. I only react to that rudeness in kind. I merely choose to think differently than you, and therefor must somehow be mentally stagnant or deficient. You can not thank that a thinking man of science could not possible think differently than you. Therefor I must be a liar or a fraud, never the thought you may be mistaken. Your young ego drives you to have to be correct. I believe my way so it must be wrong, incorrect, I must be foolish, cenile, crazy, brain-dead. 40% of all scientist are Christians and many think the same as I. Yes they must be all cenile brain-dead too, because they would disagree with you also.

The part that amazes me is you actually act as if you think you are a majority thinker, when you are actually a very minor minority in this world. Atheist are only 3% of the world's population. That means 97% of the world actually think you are the one with the problem. Of course 3/4 of all so called Christians are confused as well. I actually like you, you are just young, full of yourself, and angry at God but that is your own private issue. I know you have a lot of walking and living yet to do, and life will influence you in ways you can not even yet predict. Wisdom comes with age, so you still have a lot of things to learn yet.

One of the strangest places on the earth lies just 900 miles North in the Philippine sea called the Dragon's Triangle and nothing is ever even mentioned about it on this forum. Science is still yet a child and is still unable to answer real adult questions. It also needs time to grow and mature just to solve questions in your back yard, and you want it to solve GOD and answer the whole of the Universe? That is the problem with youth, no patience, and just will not understand that sometimes you just have to accept the fact that you must sit and wait. You can not speed up time, you can lose it, but you can not change it's course.

No I just found GOD and Christ, and can accept the bible and science. I see the interpretation of the Hebrew text as two timelines. I do not know much of Kurt Wise but I seem to be more flexible with my beliefs. I see the seven days as six phases in creation and then the timeline of man after the flood event. I can accept 15 billion years after the Big Bang. I can see science and the Bible showing the same things. I have seen the artifacts from the Ica Vally, Peru, Museum exhibits, wall carvings and drawings from North American Indians. I have seen incredible NASA satellite photos of space and earth's topography and more than I can even tell you. No I will believe what I believe now and will not change.

Yes there is a large movement in the science communities who are becoming Christians, 40% of all scientist are now Christians. Many are Jewish and Muslims too and they follow their beliefs systems as well. I would bet that half of all scientist follow the God of Abraham the same as I. You can follow God and still be a scientist, somehow you seem to have a problem with that. That is just how it is. I can not deny the existence of God and Jesus with what I have seen for myself. I am what I am and will not change. I am still a good scientist, a damn good Botanist. I just do not wish to spit in God's face. i am not against scientists who have come to accept GOD as their personal savior. in fact, i created a thread called "Compatibility of Science and Religion" to affirm my stance on the two subjects. what amuses me, though, is how these scientists deny the hardest evidence because it contradicts their own belief about GOD. whenever i think of scientists like this, i'm reminded of you James. how sweet.
