I thought water terrorism and power terrorism is a thing of the past (referring to the Abines warlordism more than a decade ago)?

But now murag nitumaw napud but not from the same clan. worse, ngka duol sa syudad ning klaseha sa batasan sa politiko. (Basin gani naa na pud ni sa syudad, but not by cutting off power or water but perhaps another means...say, basketball boards ring a bell?)

CONSOLACION Mayor Avelino Gungob allegedly cut off the power supply and telephone connection of the Consolacion Police Station, leaving the police in the dark since Tuesday night.

Radio communication was also unavailable as it depended on the power supply paid for by the local government.

Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO) Director Jesus Gaquing said he is now working on the immediate installation of phone lines and restoration of the power supply using funds from his office.

The Police Regional Office (PRO) is studying the possibility of filing a complaint of abuse of authority against the mayor.

WHY CAN'T HE GET HIS OWN BODYGUARDS without having the taxpayers pay for it or sacrificing a couple of police personnel that better can serve other than being bodyguards? IMHO, binata ra kau nang putlon ang kuryente just because gi pull out iyang duha ka bodyguards. is his life even threatened?

Is this the kind of mayor that you want to re-elect? Ky kung ako pabut-on, ad2 nlng ko ni VM Alinsug pgka mayor...
