naa pud lain, notice marine tank users use a kind of wooden airstone for old-school skimmers?

I think it will do fine BUT not advisable for DIY co2 because of the tendency for the slime to form on the wood.

its just a block of soft wood with an airhose tube at the end. like this

diy version would be to cut a short piece of chopstick and plug it into the airhose. the chopstick should be porous enough to allow micro bubbles to pass through.

@dubcity..nice tank bai...nakatry sad ko og marine sa una, sa ako to tito pero ako ang nagmaintain.mga 40 gal tank cguro toh..ang sulod kay bakasi, cattlefish,tuyom, suwaki, lapu-lapu,puffer fish live stone og uban pa..kinuha lang namo sa among panginhas..kapoy kaau og maintain kay kapoy kaau kuha og tubig sa dagat laulau sad raba to ilha sa dagat.hehehe...pero lingaw sad labi na ang cattlefish kung manghunting siya, mo camouflage gyud, nya ang worst kay kung ma kuratan sila kay na nah goodluck sa imo tank!! wala nay makita kay puno sa iyang ink..hehehhe

unsa diay details sa trekking?

Trekking will be this coming Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009 ug ang atong assembly area will be at McDonalds sa JY Square at 6:30 AM. Kon daghan ta ug kon wala tay masakyan its either maghabalhabal or kon naa mosugot mupakyaw ta ug jeep passing Garaje of Busay then to Malubog, passing the intersection going to Tops then going down to Sitio Tigib then to Tugop where we enter the intersection from the Trans-Central Highway to Mawmawan. We will stop at the Department of Tourism area where there is a pond filled with lily, rotala rotundifolia and some other aquatic plants.


From there we will hike kon wala tay masakyan for about 2 km before reaching the upstream of Mananga River and we will go under this bridge


From the bridge we will take a walk up to this site where we collected shrimps and stiphodons.
