so are you saying my God is not the right god because he is not the christian God? if people think of your Christ as a doorknob, then you'd be also a foolish doorknob.. wouldnt that logic make Mohammed and other prophets from other religions doorknobs too?..
No, because there is no God of Doorknobs; but if a religion starts up that worship doorknobs than please feel free to join it if you choose. There are many religions in the world, and Christians, Jews, and Muslims each claim to follow the God of Abraham. Abraham's sons became the 12 tribes of Israel so they are Jews and follow text written over 3,300 years ago. Christians follow Jesus the Christ, who the Jews called Rabbi, born over 1,900 years ago and follow text written within 30 years after his death and resurrection. Muslims follow the Qur'an which is comprised by the teachings of an Adnani Arab prophet written over 1,350 years ago. The Jews wrote of the prophetical coming of the Christ, Christians follow the teachings of the Christ, and the Muslims choose to minimize the Christ and his teachings. That is just the truth and Historical facts, and their religious text reflects the concepts of their views.
hmm.. so your telling me im going to hell just because i dont have the same belief as you.. tsk tsk tsk.. mao jud ni nka daot sa religion..
No, because it says we will all be judged in the end, each according to their deeds and beliefs, and if they rejected the words of God and each will receive his rewards or punishment . Christ just offer freedom from the Second Death. This was written 1,900 years before I was even born. These are not my rules or words. Reject them if you choose, you are a bright man and you will be judged on the decisions you make. There is only one Creator and many religions, who is to say that members of other religions will not find their way into heaven. That is case by case, and according to the lives of each man. The Final Judgment will be a sliding scale that adapts to each man's condition.
I merely follow the Christ, who taught that following him would give me salvation, Grace from his Father, everlasting life, and freedom from the Final Judgment and Second Death.
so unsa man jud? langit sila or dili? dba dili si christ ila gi follow sa salvation, so sa imung statement before, they're going to hell coz they arent doing it in accordance to your Christ's teachings?
No, and that is not what is written in the New Testament; only, that it may be harder to receive eternal salvation if you choose to ignore his teachings. Even if you hear his teachings you still have to live your life by his teachings. There is no "Get Out of Hell Free Card" salvation is not cheap. But if you do not read the books and find those answers for yourself, then you may be making the God's Grace harder to receive. You have one short life time to figure it out, and an eternity to regret wrong decisions.
