the KEY is proper lighting, and the rest will be post processing. jan and dave hill both uses ring flash and of course a good light setup. but i like jan's work kay mas cleaner. most of the time, ang ka davehill is more of a "comic" look. been trying to duplicate their works but dili gyud nako kaya. saludo ko ani nilang duha.

dave hill's effect is more like Lucis art, it's a plugin for PS and quite expensive..it has the same effect though..

i think no plugins can ever duplicate the work of these great artists. Maybe "ALMOST" but not quite there. I have tried lucis, well it almost look like one, but it is not. its very dirty looking with lots of artifacts, this is because of LACK OF PROPER LIGHTING. Compared to the works of jan and dave hill, its very clean and smooth.

honestly, maglisud gyud ko duplicate sa ila work, very clean gyud. This is the closest i can get (but way too far from the real ones)
