Using this together with other radioactivity decay dating methods is more reliable than just using one. It's like making sure you have a flashlight and candles in the house, in case of brownouts.

now regarding Gigantism, how do you know that, what was uncovered and claimed to be a predecessor of man is not just some freak mutation?

Because there are many of those uncovered--if there was only one, then I would doubt it myself. The more examples are uncovered, statistics would indicate that the probably of something being true will increase.

before humans learned to domnesticate animals. there are some of the change physical apperance.

wolf - diferent breed of dogs. (there were only wolf before, dogs dint exist)
carp - gold fish (theres no gold fish bfore , only carp)
wild hog - pig (breed of pigs to create a much dilicious pork meat.)
native chicken - bantres ( it only takes a month for it grow)

Just FYI, breeding is artificial selection (because the path that a mutation takes is dictated by a human being), not the natural selection that occurs in the wild, which is the primary mover of evolution.

ya right, since even if they mutated physically they can still interbreed. And was just several thousand years ago.

how many? if there were indeed an evolution happening we could see not 10 but a thousand perhaps of intermediate kind... also, there are abnormalities passed on to children and that might be the case of what they uncovered... now let me guess... they found 2 or 3 of each kind?
