I am currently using two monitors. I'm thinking of getting a 3 monitor setup. what do i have to do? i have a graphics cards na twin heads. do i have to get another twin head graphics card to make this work?

It depends. You can do one of the two things
1. Check if you motherboard can accomodate another video card. Get a video card of the same brand.. if you have an ATI video card get another ATI card. Same goes for nvidia cards. This is so so it will work on VISTA or whatever. From my experience only windows xp can have two different brand vid card work at the same time.
2. Get one of those cards with quad heads. Those can be a bit expensive.
I think option #1 is cheaper. That is what i have now. My board can accomodate two video cards. I got two cheap dual head video cards and connected three Samsung T220 to it.Last edited by kobmat; 10-24-2009 at 04:47 PM.

I have two 512 MB ATI Radeon x1650 Pro.. It was the cheapest dual dvi card i could find.

there are still some stores selling x1650..... i think gaisano interpace is selling it still
