I am a Cebuano and have been a member of AMORC for more than 40 years. I am very old now. In my early 80’s, a friend of mine told me that there are some theosophical members dragging the name of Cebuano AMORC members in vilifying the reputation of Frater Jose Lagutan. I think this is not the policy of the leaders of Theosophical Society. If I have time, I will try to contact their previous head because I was once a member of TS. I have verified from old Rosicrucians here in Cebu, lovely charm is lying, there was no certificate issued and we Cebuano old members of AMORC will never break ties with Frater Jose. And for your information, Frater Jose’s roots are from Cebu. I remember about 15 years ago, I invited Frater Jose to my house here and I asked him if I can be a member of his Order. I am very interested to join his Order. I want to learn Kundalini. And you know what Frater Jose said? “You don’t have to, AMORC is already a good school. Stay with AMORC.” And you know, he gave me a gift. He taught me the coveted kundalini of Babaji, the one being taught by Paramahansa Yogananda in the West. And you know what? I was able to attain a consciousness I have never attained. So I am enjoining and deliberately pushing you to become members to this Vajrayana School and if you are interested in Kabbalah, OHGRC is the best. Here is a man who taught me kundalini, mahamudra and rudiments of kabbalah and yet not recruiting me to join his school. Is this the swindler you are saying lovely charm? I even offered about 20,000 pesos to donate to his Order, and he declined. He told me to donate it instead to AMORC. “You owe AMORC. Just give me a fruit salad.” You know, Jose always crack jokes. When you are near him, don’t eat too much, you may vomit because of his terrible jokes. He doesn’t project an aura of a great adept, but when he is silent, when you look into his eyes, you will feel that touch of divinity as if time stops and you are completely attuned with the consciousness of goodness and beauty. This is Jose. And please Lovely Charm, do not destroy the reputation of Cebuanos. We are not backbiters and malicious people. Cebuanos are known to be friendly. Anyway, I know Frater Jose will forgive you. So you young and old Cebuanos who have read this defense of mine, go! Join these Orders, nothing evil comes form Jose. Join! join these Orders.

I am Frater Jose Lagutan. My earthly name, my little earthly body, and the sacred names of our Beloved Orders have been viciously attacked by certain sectors of people there in Cebu. I deeply appreciate your outpouring of support for my little name, my little body and our sacred Orders. Emotions are high, I understand it. But this must stop. Anyway, this body of mine is just a casket and my name, what humans call reputation is just a label given by my dearest mother. I am Spirit, I am Soul. No one can malign Soul. Our Orders are strong. Their Light is spreading all over the Philippines and the world. Nothing earthly or demonic can stop its Light. Now, we must pass the path of forgiveness. These people do not know what they are doing. They are like little children playing with fire. In so doing, sometimes, they burn themselves. Some of these people were manipulated by those who are either expelled or envious of our Orders. Tolerance is the mark of a true Rosicrucian and a chela of the Vajrayana School. My master said, “Humility, humility, humility.” Let us humble ourselves before our attackers and embrace them with our love.

So now, let us go on with our lives and stop posting either pro or against these little children. Again, I say they do not know what they are doing and they have the right for forgiveness. i can't imagine how this episode has derailed so much. lots have been said in defense for you against a single individual who pretends (or seem to pretend) to know a lot about Theosophy and the Theosophical Society. it seems the information relayed to you was inaccurate, because there is NO "sectors of people" attacking you or the Order, but only one individual by the name of Lovely Charm.

as a member of the Society, i condemn these attacks on you and our Order. yes, that's right, i'm a member of the Order of Hermetic Gold and Rose+Cross too. i was initiated last 2006, i think. and then i joined MCE shortly afterwards. while my work, has more than often kept me from attending sunday convocations, i never stopped to read the monographs and practice in any way i can the lessons contained there.

i have seen you and met you, frater jose. and i respect you. and i respect the Order.

i have many friends in the Order and i miss them too. i have friends in the Society too, and i respect them also. i hope we can't let this episode come between two highly-esteemed esoteric schools as we serve Humanity by sharing the Light.
