"home of the best crispy pata in town" is their slogan but it think it should say the best crispy pata ever!
this baby melts in your mouth...crispy yet soft...everytime i bring guests or friends from anywhere in the world when they get to try their crispy pata its always been unanimous approval. i also like their renelong talong...although ive had better (my aunty makes it better) but theirs is the best from any restaurant ive tried.

hey another hole in the wall is "dong juan" in guadalupe..just a few houses away from mooon cafe.

they have a thread here with the name.check it out you guys..

yup bag-o rapud ko naka kaon ngari. this is actually where the original mooon cafe used to be. dong juan na karon. gamay ra kaayo ang place. few tables but lami pud.

bitaw noh thats where mooon cafe 1st opened...then zao ang ni puli sa mooon...then dong juan na ron.
service could use a lot of improvement...food is ok for the most part. nothing extraordinary for me. however there were a few dishes ive tried that were terrible...although tilok lang gyapon (lahi gyud nig gutom ta noh)

zao used to be good sad when they were there. when they moved to the bigger place bati na kaayo ang food mao na migaw kaayo permi...

hi,

i'm trying to compile a list of "Hole in the wall" places/diners here in cebu (hole in the wall defined as "A small, modest, or obscure place"). so far, i've come up with two. please feel free to add. thanks.

obscure and really worthwhile places:
- ginabot/chicharon bulaklak near mabolo church (rocky's place)
- special halo-halo at talisay (ice pa lang daan, lami na)

not-so obscure places, but worthwhile still:
- MB's Tavern in Lapu2x (awesome pizza)
- Arano's Guadalupe (awesome tomato sauce dishes)
- Casa Verde Ramos (baby back ribs extraordinnaire)
- Q-Stik Guadalupe (baby back ribs extraordinnaire 2)
