@play_chess23 thanks sa clarification... ako gi open ang enclosure and used the SN to check if affected ba and unfortunately it is not... it's also a Seagate Barracuda 7200.12

@wise_nitwit ako nya na itry imo suggestion unya ig abot sa ako sis.... ty kaau...

if la na jud, ako na ni idagan sa SM... asa man ang service center sa seagate ngadto? ning close naman to store nila gud...

Sis sa thinking tools na nimo napalit diba? ibalik lng na didto... kay under warranty paman kaha na
wala man na nimo gimalmal paggamit under normal operation mana cya ni palyar, which is a very reasonable argument to avail the warranty

I agree with play chess - para less hassle, pero recover your files if you can ..sayang sad..

hi guys... ako gidala sa thinking tools gahapon then gipa bilin man sa technician... iya daw ipang balhin ang mga files sa new hard disk and iya daw itest kung mu open ba ang mga files from there... kung di daw gyapon mu open then ang ako daw mga files ang daot dili ang hard disk.. which is quite silly u know lol daot na unta ako laptop if ang mga files ang guba.... if ang hard disk jud ang daot, ireplace daw nila....

oh well... crossing my fingers.... worried lang ko sa ako 400GB worth of files huhuhu

wahahaha tua sa other hard disk nako ako mga private stuff... puro lang jud to videos ang sulod ato ako hard disk....

the technician called me yesterday, some files dili jud daw ma copy so i told him copy anything nga pwede ma copy... then iya ireformat... huhuhuhu ka bad oi!! abi nako maayo ni seagate... seagate bya to hd sa ako desktop ay, pila na ka years wala jud nadaot!!
