You can look at this in a positive light. Because your job is now a routine for you, you can use the extra time you have to think about your passion and what business you'd like to venture in to.

if juan can finish 1 product in 2 hours, and pedro can finish 2 products in 2 hours and 30 mins.. how many products will they finish on an 8-hour shift when working when WORKING TOGETHER (like sharing one production machine)?

i have my own managers to handle each of my businesses.. the only thing i do is watch their performance from the reports every week and from the monthly audits..

nah its ok.. the only thing i can say on my practice is that overhead is very high coz i hire managers.. but i guess its the trade off for not the one directly managing it.. i value time as the more important resource than money..

im a lazy person.. i dont really like the idea of working my butt off just to earn money..

regarding construction, houses pa ako makaya,.. wa pa kaau ko kasabot sa mechanics anang road construction.. saon, dili man ta engineer.. sa ako pagkasaud, geodetic engineer man ang motrabaho sa measurements sa mga roads.. wala ko construction firm.. ginagmay lang ni akoa.. mas more ko sa initial financing.. or you can call it small contractor..

This mindset is not already the solution as of now, maybe 40 years ago it is a solution.
One active income stream nowadays can't anymore achieve your life long dreams.

Employees are well aware of that sir.. I've known that for a long time, in fact I gotta tell you that's what's pushing me to be good at what I'm doing.. good thing for me, I have superiority complex.. hehehe. d jud affected if someone is in a higher position than me, coz my mind set is always, today this seat, tomorrow it's your seat... wehehehe!
Valuable employees are always irreplaceable, that's what I believe in.
And I hope you won't take this wrong but I think it would be a much better thing if you would be hands-on and not just leave it to people you think you trust.
You're dealing with money sir, and money as you very well know is a very tempting reason to turn your back and even bite the hand who feeds you.
That notion of being employed by your business is a sign of inferiority complex (I'm not saying you are)... When you're where you are as you say you are, then doing hands-on work would only build your self esteem. the thought na, hey I'm working in my own company and I'm proud of it. I personally know several owners of big and successful businesses who are hands-on and whew! I respect them soooo much...
Check your books (not the books you read huh?), there might be discrepancies there... humot baya kaayo ang money...

in my personal dealings with my own business..i believe to be prepared for it, one has to do your homework, do the FS before doing the business, and be committed to achieving goals set. building that business aptitude is through doing the actual business..yes reading books does help but the real deal comes by really doing hands on the business itself...
