Actually mga Pips.... the Municipal Government of Consolacion naa na'y plano ani. Diha gani to sila'y first public presentation sa Pag-ibig Tower just last month lang. Murag last July 11 man siguro to. (Kalimot ko) The first presentation was for a few selected people pa lang. Sayang lang gani kay i was invited pero wala ko kaadto due to our monthly report diri sa office. Sayang!

What was proposed to be built in the mountains of Consolacion was a lot bigger than Echanted Kingdom or Star City! About 2000 hectares ang plano. According to one of the town councilors, its not really big, its Huge!

In the plan, there's a Football Stadium, a Soccer Field, lot of sports facilities, a segregated Zoo, a segregated Botanical Garden, a man-made lake, 5-Star Hotels, a Cable Car, residential villages, Commercial Complexes, ... og daghan pa kaayo to! Mura jud ni og just-a-dream pero naa naman gud actual study ani. The place has been surveyed na by the Koreans. Mao gani nga gi-present na nila.

Target blast off year is 2009!

Enchanted Kingdom in Cebu - I don't expect it to happen anytime soon.

The island does NOT have a sufficient power supply for its residents and businesses. Obviously, the theme park will demand a lot of electricity to run. Just look around you - rotating brownouts.

Let's not forget that there are people who are not willing to pay the ride-all-you-can entry fee of P300 and above.

I'd love to see Cebu have a world-class theme park but looking at reality, it won't happen anytime soon.
