Enchanted Kingdom In Cebu?

When i visited NTH a couple of years back, i saw Plans and a scale model of a proposed Enchanted Kingdon here in Cebu.

The scale model is still there but shelved in a wooden Box and kept inside North Town Homes Subdivision Admin Bldg.

i don't know why the project didn't progress to the next level (construction) dunno why kutob lang presentation by the consultants.

Maybe no budget or no investor for a joint venture... Ingon sila ang area instead gui-develop into a subdivision called Molave HighLands.

Actually mga Pips.... the Municipal Government of Consolacion naa na'y plano ani. Diha gani to sila'y first public presentation sa Pag-ibig Tower just last month lang. Murag last July 11 man siguro to. (Kalimot ko) The first presentation was for a few selected people pa lang. Sayang lang gani kay i was invited pero wala ko kaadto due to our monthly report diri sa office. Sayang!

What was proposed to be built in the mountains of Consolacion was a lot bigger than Echanted Kingdom or Star City! About 2000 hectares ang plano. According to one of the town councilors, its not really big, its Huge!

In the plan, there's a Football Stadium, a Soccer Field, lot of sports facilities, a segregated Zoo, a segregated Botanical Garden, a man-made lake, 5-Star Hotels, a Cable Car, residential villages, Commercial Complexes, ... og daghan pa kaayo to! Mura jud ni og just-a-dream pero naa naman gud actual study ani. The place has been surveyed na by the Koreans. Mao gani nga gi-present na nila.

Target blast off year is 2009!

@Tolstoi: the widening of the Consolacion's national road is part of the plan. Giapil jud ni nila bai.

I just hope nga ma-push thru jud ni sa nila.

for now, i dont' think the population or even the tourism industry can sustain such a big a project. when cebu gets congested, i think that would be the right tiime to erect a theme park permanently.
